Ladakh

Jammu
– Nestling in the foothills of Himalayas,
the lowest elevated region of the Jammu and Kashmir
state, a hub of Hindu religious shrines. The amazing
shrines include Ragunath mandir, Bawey Wali Mata,
Mahamaya, Peer Kho cave, Ranbireshwar, Lakshmi
Narayan temple, Duda Dhari temple, number of Sikh
Gududawars and Muslim Mosques. Forts and Palaces,
a short distance away is the most important Hindu
pilgrimage centre, Mata Vaishno Devi in Katra. |
